Rashmirathi Tiwari

I sit in CXO rooms
and the codebase.

Fractional CTO for founder-led companies. I turn business vision into shipped product — and stay hands-on enough to debug it at 2 AM.

Background

For 18 years I've built software — the last decade leading a 38-person studio that shipped for Spotify, Boeing, a Fortune 15 country head, and a Forbes 30 Under 30 founder.

Now I work as a Fractional CTO for founder-led companies that need senior technical leadership without a full-time CTO salary. I help founders translate vision into roadmap, make the architecture calls that don't break in 18 months, hire their first engineers, and bring AI into their product without burning runway.

Strategy at 10 AM. Production debugging at 10 PM. Both, because founder-led companies need both.

Selected Clients & Outcomes

Also built for:

A Fortune 15 country head

Architected a hyperlocal e-commerce platform from concept to launch.

A Forbes 30 Under 30 founder

I'm looking for a focused, full-time-equivalent engagement with a founder-led product company — remote-first, comfortable across US / AU / EU time zones.

Co-founding Arete.

An AI-first career discovery platform for students. In private beta, with early enterprise pilots. (There's a story behind this one →)

The Arete Story

Why I'm building Arete

In the 1990s, I had to choose between maths, science, and commerce for class 11. I was a teenager with no framework, no guidance, no idea what those choices meant for the next 30 years of my life. My teacher decided commerce was right for me — so I sat in the commerce classroom for two days, understood almost nothing, and told my mother I couldn't do it. I switched to maths. Not because anyone guided me there, but because I was guessing.

Three decades later, a family member finished class 10 and came to me with the same confusion. The choices had barely changed — maths, science, commerce, and now arts — and still no real framework to choose between them. Twenty-plus years had passed and nothing had improved.

I told him to use AI. He came back more confused — because for most students, AI is just a faster Google.

So my co-founder Preyanka and I are building Arete — an AI-first tool that actually understands a student: their interests, their hidden talents, their pace. It gives them a real roadmap, a weekly cadence to stay on track, and a living portfolio of what they've actually achieved.

Arete (ah-reh-TAY) is Greek for reaching your highest potential. That's the whole idea.

We're in private beta now, with early enterprise pilots. I'm building it in the open — you can follow along on LinkedIn.

He gave a very reasonable price to redo the whole website, rather than patch up the old one… completed on schedule, a tremendous improvement. Very professional. His team are very competent.

Let's talk

If you're a founder navigating a hard technical decision — even if we never end up working together — I'm happy to spend 30 minutes on it.
